Christians follow certain things that go against The Mystical Teachings Of Jesus. For instance, when I quote to a Christian Matthew 19:16-17 that how Jesus denies even the slightest suggestion of divinity. That Christian brother tries to answer me by attempting to quote the context of the verse and verses after it. They start quote to me Matthew 19:20, but leave verses 18 & 19 in the middle. So what is wrong with these verses? Well there is nothing in the verses, wrong is what the church teaches and what Christians practice. Because the church preaches that the commandments were nailed to the cross as St. Paul claimed. But it goes against the teachings of Jesus Christ. As Jesus says in Matthew 19:17, keep the commandments and when he is asked what are these commandments, Jesus says,
“Thou shalt do no murder, Thou shalt not commit adultery, Thou shalt not steal, Thou shalt not bear false witness, Honor thy father and thy mother: and, Thou shalt love thy neighbor as thyself.”
The Christians do not follow this teaching of Jesus Christ, but instead they follow the teachings of the church and St. Paul, which contradict the teachings of Jesus. They do the same thing with John 14, they quote the verse 14 and 20, but leave the verse 15 and 21, where Jesus tells them to keep the commandments.
Jesus Christ even went on to say in the Gospel of Matthew 5:17-20,
“Think not that I am come to destroy the law, or the prophets: I am not come to destroy, but to fulfill. For verily I say unto you, Till heaven and earth pass, one jot or one tittle shall in no wise pass from the law, till all be fulfilled. Whosoever therefore shall break one of these least commandments, and shall teach men so, he shall be called the least in the kingdom of heaven: but whosoever shall do and teach them, the same shall be called great in the kingdom of heaven. For I say unto you, That except your righteousness shall exceed the righteousness of the scribes and Pharisees, ye shall in no case enter into the kingdom of heaven.”
This is not the only teaching of Jesus that the Church contradicts; in fact the doctrine of Trinity also goes against the teachings of Jesus Christ. As this post “Trinity” claims, the word ‘Trinity’ does not exist in the Bible. And the verse closest to Trinity (1 John 5:7) has been thrown out of the Revised Version of the Bible as an interpolation.
And when someone asked Jesus that what is the most important commandment, Jesus repeated what Moses had said earlier, “Shama Israelu Adonai Ila Hayno Adonai Ikhad”. (Mark 12:29) Which means, “Hear, O Israel; The Lord our God is one Lord.”
So it is must for every Christian to follow the teachings of Jesus Christ and keep the commandments. Especially the first commandment and thus believe in that God is One.
